How to calculate fixed deposit (FD) maturity amount?

To know the exact FD maturity amount, you can calculate the fd rates manually using the following formula -

M = P (1+r/n) ^ (n * t)

In the above formula,

  • M is the maturity amount
  • P is the principal amount
  • R is the interest rate and
  • N is the number of years

Alternatively, you can use the FD calculator. It is an easy-to-use online tool that allows you to do the calculation within seconds and get accurate results. To get the interest amount and maturity value using the FD calculator, you must enter a few details like interest rate, investment tenure and investment amount.
